Automation is great in business when done correctly. Automation will allow you to have tasks done at the proper time in your business without having to do them yourself. The correct automations will allow you to gain hours back in your business to either work less or work less hard. Here are a few benefits to workflow automation for your online education business:
Think about any recurring task you do in your business, such as onboarding and offboarding clients. When you have an amazing workflow that is focused around client experience, consistency matters. One of my biggest tips is to automate as much of your onboarding workflow to save time with each client. You can build the automation in your CRM such as Honeybook. Or if you do not have a CRM you can build it in a project management tool such as Trello. Or even in a spreadsheet. Tip: do not take the time to build it in the software until you love the workflow
When you save time it allows you to fill that time with more clients, time to create another course, work on lead generation, update your SEO, create passive income, do all of the CEO projects that have been on the back burner
When a software is sending emails for you, tagging clients, or sending proposals there is much less room for human error. Therefore a better client experience and better metrics in your business
If you choose the correct course software for your business needs it will be able to automatically charge your clients for the monthly payment plan and keep that weight off your shoulders. Or even worse you forget to charge your clients for a month of coaching or a course.
The more time you have to work on your client work, the better the quality work it will be. With workflows your clients will have the same client experience to allow for a better outcome and a higher referral base.
What would you do with these workflow automations in your business? How would you use the free time you have ever week?
